Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Brownhill Group Limited. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before making a booking. By making a booking you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Summary of Terms Used

‘The Conditions’ – Any standard terms and conditions of sale set out in this document and includes any special terms and conditions agreed in writing between the Passenger and the Provider.
‘The Passenger’  – The person making the booking and any other person on whose behalf a booking was made. By travelling in the vehicle each passenger is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions

‘The Contract’– The contract for the provision of minicab / chauffeur services as defined in section 1.1
‘The Transportation Service’ – The minicab / chauffeur service to be supplied by The Provider in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Bookings & Contract

1.1 A booking constitutes an offer by you to purchase The Transportation Service in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, and an acceptance by us to provide The Transportation Service. A booking will only be deemed accepted and a Contract entered into when we confirm the booking by email, or when the journey commences, whichever occurs first. At this point a Contract has been entered into between Brownhill Group Limited and the Passenger.

1.2 We are under no obligation to accept a booking, and a booking may be declined for any reason.

1.3 Once a booking has been accepted Brownhill Group Limited will be responsible for the provision of the Transportation Service.

1.4 By requesting a reservation on the Provider’s website, by telephone, by email or by any other means, the Passenger accepts these terms and conditions.

1.5 Brownhill Group Limited reserves the right to use the services of other Licensed Minicab / Chauffeur Companies (third parties). In this instance the responsibility remains with Brownhill Group Limited to the extent permitted by law.

1.6 These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.

Quotations & Rates

2.1  All sales literature, price lists and documents issued by the Provider are subject to change without notice and do not constitute an offer, unless stated otherwise, (and only in writing).

2.2 Any typographical or clerical errors shall be subject to correction without liability on the part of the provider.
2.3 Quoted prices outside published rates are valid for 24 hours unless stated otherwise.
2.4 The Provider reserves the right to amend pricing due to changes in cost, law, tax or regulation.
2.5 The Provider may cancel or amend the service if passenger details are incomplete or inaccurate.

General Terms of Carriage

3.1 Passengers must allow sufficient time for their journey. Recommendations do not create liability.

3.2 Fares apply to the booked journey only. Additional stops incur a minimum £6 charge per diversion.
3.4 The Provider is not responsible for missed flights, trains or ships.
3.5 Liability does not extend to indirect losses.
3.6 Maximum liability shall not exceed the total fare paid.
3.7 Excess luggage that compromises safety may result in refusal of service.
3.8 Passenger and luggage numbers must match the booking confirmation.
3.9 Prohibited items include: Explosives, firearms, flammable items Fragile or temperature-sensitive goods Hazardous materials Illegal substances, drugs or narcotics
3.10 Unaccompanied luggage returned to head office may incur extra storage/delivery fees.
3.11 Disorderly or abusive passengers may be refused carriage.
3.12 The Provider is not responsible for luggage damage (unless caused by mishandling of the Driver).

3.13 Vehicle substitutions or third-party operators may be used when required.

Waiting Times & Additional Charges

4.1
  • Non-airport pickups: 15 minutes free, then £6 per 15 minutes
  • Airport pickups:
  • Non-airport pickups: 1 hour free after selected pickup time, then £6 per 15 minutes
  • Flight delays are tracked and do not incur waiting charges

4.2 London Congestion Zone surcharge: £18 unless traveling to Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton or London City Airport.

4.3 50% surcharge applies on: 24th, 25th, 26th, 31st December & 1st January

4.4 Vehicle valeting charge: £60 for spills, vomiting or interior damage.

Cancellations

5.1 All cancellations must be made directly with Brownhill Group Limited.
5.2 Cancellations within 24 hours must be made by phone:📞 +44 208 064 2662
5.3 24+ hours notice = Full refund
5.4 Less than 24 hours = 100% charge
5.5 Refund claims must be made within 1 week
5.6 No-show bookings are charged
5.7 If you seek alternative transport without contacting us first, full fare applies.

Payments

6.1 Brownhill Group Limited accepts major debit/credit cards and PayPal.

6.2 Cash payments (if pre-authorised) must be paid directly to the driver
